In the Cancer Counseling and Support Center, we are engaged in the following activities as a window of a medical care and support for cancer opened up for the region. We also accept those who are not familiar with our hospital.
– General information on cancer medical care to patients and their families
– Providing information on patients / families association, introducing medical institutions
– Consultation on visiting our hospital, consultation about anxiety for treatment and relationship with healthcare providers
– Consultation on second opinion
– About medical expenses and living costs
– About use of medical welfare system such as pediatric chronic specific disease and disability pension
– About medical care environment during hospitalization and visiting our outpatient clinic
– Concerning living such as nursing care and treatment at home
– About social life such as work and school, about family life
Collaboration with medical institutions and visiting nursing stations (transfer, home medical care support) in the region

General Consultation Center, Medical Welfare Counselling Office receives the consultation from the patients who are receiving treatment by our Heart Disease Center or Critical and Emergency Center (including stroke center) and their families regarding the life with medical treatment
For example, at the time of the followings:
– I am worried about medical / living expenses; I am concerned about nursing care after discharge or transfer
– I want to know about social welfare system or subsidy system of medical expenses (high medical expenses, specific diseases, welfare benefit, etc.)
