After diagnosis at the Comprehensive Cancer Center / the Gastroenterological Disease Center, operation is performed by the Department of Gastroenterological Surgery, or chemotherapy is performed by our department before or after surgery according to the degree of progress.
For patients with cancer recurrence, we provide chemotherapy after evaluating their general condition.
When radiation therapy or chemotherapy shows effective in case of unresectable cancer, some patients are expected to be excised by the Department of Surgery.
Many patients have symptoms such as cancer pain from after they have been diagnosed as cancer.
For such patients, we also provide symptomatic relief in combination, such as appropriate pain management, so that they can take even more comfortable outpatient treatment.
In our department we provide clinical care in principle after patients fully understand their disease name / disease condition and effects / side effects of chemotherapy including their families.
We perform chemotherapy for progressive / recurrent cases of solid cancers (esophageal cancer, stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, gallbladder cancer etc.).
