We treat blood tumors and solid tumors including leukemia developed in children, malignant lymphoma, neuroblastoma, nephroblastoma, hepatoblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma, osteosarcoma, brain tumor, and hematopoietic disorder like aplastic anemia, coagulation defects, immunodeficiencies, etc. For sarcomas such as osteosarcoma, we are also in charge of chemotherapy for patients who reach puberty / young adulthood.
The staff took clinical training at the specialized facilities for cancer and blood including National Cancer Center Hospital, and has world-standard diagnostic and therapeutic skills.
Malignant diseases of children and young people are less likely to occur, so in general they are often “neglected”, but in our hospital we are steadily establishing achievements and evaluations as a department specializing in malignant diseases in children.
Also for support systems for families with child patient, Family houses and the like are also in progress, and with the support of Hidaka City, it is possible to offer compulsory education for in-hospital classes for elementary school students and visiting classes for junior high school students.
Hematopoietic disorders such as malignant neoplasia in general that develops in childhood and young adults, hematopoietic disorders such as aplastic anemia, immune abnormalities such as congenital agranulocytosis, blood coagulation disorder, etc.
In particular, refractory hematologic disorders that are indications for transplantation of allogeneic hematopoietic cells and refractory solid tumors that require multidisciplinary treatment are targeted.
